Please the order on the website. During checkout, choose “In Store Pickup” under Shipping Methods. Finish the checkout process and pay for the order. Once we pull the order, you will receive an email confirmation stating that it is ready to be picked up. Go to the front counter with your ID and enjoy your purchase!
We guarantee all our comics to be in NM 9.2 or better condition, unless otherwise stated in the comic profile. Usually, the only comics with specific grades & actual scans are listed are in our “Valuable & Vintage” section. A book in NM- 9.2 condition, as per CGC grading standards, may have a 4-6 minor defects, including but not limited to spine ticks, stress marks, or tiny edge & corner wear. These guidelines for a 9.2 are industry standard and we believe, most comics shipping directly from the distributor fall into this grade. Please note that clearance comics, $.99 sale books and some odd shaped comics do not come with the NM guarantee but rest assured, we can promise they won’t look like the dog ate them!

All our books, graphic novels & magazines are new, but we do not guarantee a NM condition as we do with our new release comics. We make every effort to send out the best copies, but they may have light shelf wear, light dings or a small dent.
For comics past the FOC (Final Pre-Order Date) we have a limit of two per customer. If you place the order before the FOC there is no limit. However, Comix Zone may, at its own discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. Comix Zone also reserves the right to reject any order you place with us. Please see our site terms for more information.
Due to the collectible nature and condition sensitivity of comic books, both new and old, we are unable to accept returns on them. All other Items may be returned within 30 days from the delivery date in an unopened package that is in like-new condition, unless returning defective merchandise. Clearance sales are final. Christmas returns valid until January 31st. Please note, refunds do not include original shipping paid unless there was a defect/problem with the item. Return shipping is also the customers responsibility unless there was a defect with the item.

Wish List is used so you may keep track of items you may be interested in purchasing in the future. Alternatively, it can be used to send gift ideas by using the Share Wishlist button. To add items, push the Add To Wish List button for an item to have it added to your list. To view your Wish List press the heart in the upper right corner. Once on your list, in stock (or pre-order) items can be added to your cart which will remove the item form the list. Please note that adding to your Wish List does not guarantee an item will be in stock when you return to purchase it.
All orders are packed and shipped directly from our retail store in Syracuse, NY.
Orders are processed automatically. Additional items would require a separate order. Shipping of two orders cannot be combined to save on shipping.
Occasionally, inventory levels may be incorrect or, when and item is pulled we may find it damaged. The item will be temporarily out of stock; back-ordered items will be shipped when we get more in stock at no additional cost to you. On rare occasions, an item may no longer be available at which time we will issue a refund for the item.
Go to your account, press “My Orders” to view all your orders. The “Status” column will tell you what stage your order is in.
To cancel an order, please contact our customer service department by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and they will give you further assistance.
Pre-Orders are items that you can purchase before the item ships from the publisher and/or manufacturer. This often helps guarantee the availability of an item as it is specifically ordered for you. You can tell if an item is a pre-order item by the orange 'pre-order' button rather than the regular 'add to cart' button. Expected release dates are available on each product page, and are subject to change by the publisher or manufacturer.
Just like a regular order, they are automatically charged at the time the order is placed.
Orders containing pre-order items are held until all items arrive. Please keep this in mind when combining in stock items with pre-orders as the in-stock items will not ship out until everything on the order arrives.
Prices for preordered items are subject to change, on rare occasions we may be forced to adjust a price before filling an order. If the price change is $3.00 or less this will be charged automatically, if it is higher, we will reach out to you to see if you still want the item at the higher price.
We accept American Express, Discover, Master Card, Visa, and PayPal. All payment must be in U.S. currency.
All credit card orders are automatically processed by our credit card processor; reasons why payments may be declined are not supplied to us. If payment is declined, you will have to choose a different payment method.
This is only for members using our Subscription Pull List service and is not a valid payment option for regular orders. Orders placed by customers that are not active members of the Subscription Pull List will have the order canceled and it will have to be placed again using a valid form of payment.
We ship all orders within 2-3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Please note that delays can happen based on inclement weather, sales, or increased order volume.
