Host Mortem

ON TELEVISION, THEY PRETENDED TO BE DETECTIVES. NOW THEY HAVE TO BE REAL ONES TO SOLVE AN ACTUAL MURDER! Former Carmen Sandiego hosts Kevin Shinick and Greg Lee spent the '90s pretending to solve mysteries. Now, thanks to a time portal, they're trapped in 1947 Hollywood having to solve real ones, armed with little more than quick wits and a head full useless trivia. In this game show, gumshoe graphic novel, when a murder tied to Humphrey Bogart's The Big Sleep threatens to rewrite history, the clues become humor, hosts and homicide. Part L.A. Confidential, part Only Murders In The Building, HOST MORTEM is a darkly funny, time-traveling noir adventure that asks: Are TV hosts really smart? Or do they just hold the answers? From Bestselling author and Emmy winning writer Kevin Shinick.
